Real solutions for real needs.

For 34 years, CHC has been helping people in difficult circumstances by providing food, clothing, and other basic needs while also cultivating hope through sincere caring and ongoing support. We believe that God designed us for community – we all have needs and we all have gifts to share. For us, ultimate success is when our guests begin to thrive and join us in helping others find hope.

I serve as the volunteer manager for the Community Hope Center.   From the first time that I came to CHC, I realized what a wonderful place it is.  It is a place where God uses people to bless those who are in need.  The volunteers and staff truly have hearts of love for others.  The Community Hope Center provides food, clothing, household items, and daily lunches. There are also volunteers who will give direction on how to receive resources that will meet the needs that the guests may have.   It goes way beyond meeting the physical needs of the guests, however.  There is a group of volunteers who are ready to really listen, pray, love and care for the guests who walk through the doors of CHC.

“I started coming to the Community Hope Center during the COVID Pandemic and what a blessing I have received.  For I have been blessed in so many ways.  For example:  food to nurture my body, clothing for my personal needs, household items, referral services and the most important need for anyone the true, genuine love which is shown to All.

You see, I feel as I am part of a loving family, friendships have been established.  Even though I am one in a household I am not alone.

Yes, this is my story, however, it is available through the Community Hope Center for anyone who is willing and open to accept the loving services being offered to the community.  Services that have been offered for the past 36 years, services of compassion and empathy.”

The Community Hope Center is a place where Hope is found in Jesus. I enjoy volunteering there because I get to invest in people and encourage others as I am also encouraged.  It’s a great place to be to work alongside people I now call my friends!!
